About Peter
I grew up with my mother playing the sounds of Peter Murphy, Bauhaus, Love and Rockets and many other of their contemporaries; they’ve been a humongous influence on my musical taste, to say nothing of my life. I’ve met Peter once so far, and he was incredibly polite and friendly to me (far removed from stories I had heard of him!). I’ve also met Mark Thwaite and Nick Lucero, who were just as amiable. David J also got me into a nightclub despite being underaged, played me a song on my guitar, and hung out for a bit. Personally, they are all incredibly undervalued musicians, and fantastic influences. I know more of their songs on guitar than any other band, and I only continue to learn from them.
